Synopsis
The shadow is literally the dark reflexion of our bodies on a light surface that of the sun, or any other light when it hits an opaque body- in this case ours. The shadow grows longer or shorter according to where the light is placed in relation to the moving body in space.
The shadow also is, in a symbolic sense, our dark side, that we either cannot or don’t want to see, or don’t know about no matter how hard we try; or that we find unacceptable and therefore we choose to hide.
