ISABEL BETETA CHOREOGRAPHY
Year 2013
Duration: 25 minutes
Lighting: César Guerra

Synopsis:
The work has as fundamental objective to explore the plasticity of the body (its possibilities of movement) based on images of the plastic arts - worth the redundancy - in; images taken from painting and sculpture, contrasting styles, specifically baroque and cubist. Thus, angular and sinuous movements are interwoven and contrasted through different qualities of movement (cut, bound, combined and of different durations).
On the other hand you can talk about the internal theme, the emotional engine of the piece. This refers to the memory of someone who is currently absent but comes alive through the memory of a poet at the time she is writing.
